WARNING… THIS IS A SPECIAL BLOG POST!

Mental health is a worldwide growing phenomenon that has hit hard in recent years. With the climax of media, whether social media on your phone or televised shows on the big screens, mental health has been massively thrown into the spotlight. This focus, although sometimes negative (as I have commented on in recent blog posts), has had major positive effect. The ‘shareability’ factor of this new digital age has impacted awareness levels greatly. Campaigns and non-profit charities, providing information and offering resources to help mental health, can now reach a huge scale of audiences through multiple media platforms! This is something that has changed drastically over the last few decades and has improved systems involving healthcare and government policies around mental health.

It’s now time for YOU to make a change.

I have been inspired to create my own campaign to promote recovery in mental health. I believe its important to understand the stages for those in need of help to change their lives and get on their journey to recovery.

Share and retweet this infographic here to join the movement and truly show how #digitalimpact has changed the way mental health is perceived in todays age of amazing technology.
