I find that social media is so addictive, and we all need time away from it from time to time – so I decided I needed a detox!

This Week…

I have decided to do something a bit different for this weeks blog post. Today, we rarely go a day without checking social media regularly. We are┬áposting photos and/or stories of what we’re doing to share with others. We spend so much time on our screens, that we miss out on doing other activities. So, I decided to take a break from all the stresses of online platforms. I completed a detox from social media such as Instagram and Snapchat, to see how it makes me feel.

I have made a Video!

It shows how I felt after 24 hours without social media, and a few snippets from my ski holiday, where I haven’t been on my phone very much at all. Since doing the 24 hour detox without Instagram, Snapchat etc. I have really noticed how much time I spend without my phone, and I am far more conscience of my phone usage.

My detox really helped me.

I would really recommend it to anyone who feels a bit stressed, or purely wants to cut down on how much time they spend online.
